I had the pleasure seeing the original lineup several times and it was a period of my life of good times and bad..The night of the plane crash finding out that Ronnie,Steve, Cassie had died it broke my heart and couldn't go to work that morning..I played nothing but Skynyrd music all day and cried it was like loosing a piece of my southern heritage..

Easy to see why the likes of Mary J. Blige got the rnr hof nod before these boys. Hope they never get inducted. The rnr hof does NOT deserve them ! Thank you for your untouchable contribution to my world boys. RIP Caldwell bros and George

Me! This was last cd my husband played when he was on a mountain..committed suicide in 2009..over dose..2 years before that 2007, my 25 yr. Old died, over dose. Left me alone but know I'll meet them again keeps me alive. Great song!

I JUST started my Sr year of high school when this was recorded...I STILL listen too this, I made cassettes with this on it for each of my kids in the 90's, so they could HEAR the difference in music. they ALL prefer late 60's & 70's to whatever they call today's noise on the radio!!

This song became a sort of theme song in our house when I hit menopause and my husband looked like a deer caught in the headlights. Poor guy. lol But, this song took on new meaning, helped lighten it all up and gave us a good laugh.
